The Kimberly Stephens Group Foundation (KSGF) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2007. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for youth in urban communities. In partnership with various charitable organizations, KSGF creates and supports projects that foster self-discovery, build healthy self-esteem, encourage high academic achievement, and demonstrate to at-risk, underserved middle and high school girls of color in Los Angeles that they truly matter.
KSGF is the brainchild of Kimberly Stephens, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, a proud alumna of Spelman College, and an entertainment talent executive and event planner with over 20 years of experience. Kimberly is also a dedicated community advocate. She founded KSGF to bring enrichment and empowerment to youth who need it most.
Kimberly Stephens is an uber-savvy Talent Executive/Event Marketing Specialist also known as “The Talent Whisperer.” She currently serves as Senior Manager, Talent Relations for the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, where she leads partnerships with talent across industries and disciplines. She also stewards relationships with talent and representatives, including Oscar winners and nominees. Kimberly got her start working as a talent agent assistant and rose through the ranks to work as a consultant with BET, TV One, Walmart, Sony Films, Oxygen, Focus Features, OWN, VH1, HBO, Spelman College, The YWCA GLA, LAUSD, The Bayou Classic, Essence Festival, and Verizon’s “How Sweet The Sound,” to name a few.
When Kimberly isn’t moonlighting giving back to one of her favorite charities, she can be caught serving at HOPE In A Suitcase assisting foster youths, volunteering with City District 8, her church, or mentoring underserved and at-risk girls at her KSG Foundation. Kimberly is a true Atlanta native and Georgia peach with California love!
Joining her in this mission is her daughter, Jordan Stephens-Moseley, a graduate of Wellesley College with a BA in Women and Gender Studies, Italian, and Pre-Med. Jordan furthered her education with an MPH in Global Public Health, focusing on Maternal and Child Health, at Tulane University in New Orleans, and most recently earned a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Southern California University of Medical Sciences, looking forward to medical school.
Together, Kimberly and Jordan bring a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to the foundation’s efforts.
